Port of Cuxhaven

Ferry Routes and Cruises
(Cuxhaven, Lower Saxony, Germany)

A single ferry route to Turku in Finland via Tallinn in Estonia is served by the Port of Cuxhaven.

It isn't a popular route but does provide one of the few services between the north Baltic and Germany.

The operator, Mann Lines, has connecting services to the UK, making it possible to book a through ticket to Finland, though it isn't too popular.

Cuxhaven to Turku via Tallinn

Sailings from Cuxhaven to Turku via Tallinn are operated by Mann Lines. A single crossing is made per week with ships departing Cuxhaven for Tallinn on Saturdays at 19:00 and Tallinn for Turku on Mondays at 21:00. Two ships are used for this route, the MV Estraden and the MV Hamburg. They both have comfortable seating in the saloon, a bar serving snacks and limited hot food as well as alcohol.

Cuxhaven to Harwich

The same ferry route detailed above, aboard the MV Estraden continues onto Harwich in Northern England, providing a link between the UK and Northern Germany, on a once weekly trip.
